A trip packed with experiences but never rushed, at 7 days the Kadavu Classic allows you time to unwind. For most travelers, Fiji's remote Kadavu Island is a once-in-a-lifetime destination, so it makes sense to stay longer to get the most out of your visit.
Each day our guides will take you out on world-class sea-kayaking and snorkeling adventures. Being indigenous Kadavu Islanders they know these waters intimately. Whatever the weather or sea conditions, the guides will lead you safely to the very best places to paddle, swim and snorkel.
As the days unfold the adventures continue. Because the trip is private for just your group, the guides are able to adjust the mix of activity and relaxation to suit you. The support motor-boat is never far away, so everyone can paddle as much or as little as they choose. Even non-paddlers and children can join the trip and rendezvous with the group at beaches along the way.
You’ll be accommodated at three wilderness lodge resorts; two nights at each place (depending on availability). Each day you’ll sea-kayak a different section of coast. With the guides’ local knowledge and the occasional trip in the support motor-boat you won’t ever have to paddle the same section twice.

Oneta is located on Ono Island, in the north of the Kadavu archipelago. Papageno is on the northern coast of Kadavu Island. Both resorts are small, environmentally-conscious and very comfortable. Cottages and villas are located throughout tropical gardens bordered by the forest and the ocean. Options include 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom houses, with private bathrooms for every bedroom. Both have organic gardens and well-stocked bars serving cocktails, cold beer and a selection of wines.
Matava, on Kadavu's south coast, is perched on a low hill overlooking tidal-flats, a vast lagoon and the Great Astrolabe Reef. A cluster of traditionally-styled bures (Fijian houses) and a large central bar/lounge/dining area, Matava is a welcome refuge for adventure-travelers amidst a majestic South Pacific wilderness.
