The Taste of Adventure is a trip designed for those short on time but keen to experience sea-kayaking, snorkeling and hiking Kadavu-style.

Three nights gives you two full days and two half-days to immerse yourself in this South Pacific wilderness. Our guides will pick you up and drop you off at Kadavu Island's airport, and will ensure you get the most out of your time on the island. Being indigenous Kadavu Islanders and life-long residents here, they know the area inside-out. They’ll introduce you to the best sea-kayaking areas, snorkeling sites and hiking trails, taking into account each day's weather and tide-times.

The trip can be as active or as leisurely as you want. The activities can start as early as 6am (you choose), with a bird-listening hike through the rainforest. Two beach-picnics are included, adjacent to superb snorkeling sites. As you snorkel a guide will keep watch from a sea-kayak to ensure your safety and peace-of-mind. With the motor-boat in support, children and non-paddlers can also participate.

More about the accommodation:

You'll stay three nights at either Matava or Papageno resorts. Matava is on the south-east coast of Kadavu Island, Papageno on the north-west. Both accommodations are small and environmentally-conscious, and can be accessed by boat only. Rooms are located throughout tropical gardens bordered by the rainforest and the ocean. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Papageno also has 2- and 3-bedroom houses for family groups. Both places have comfortable bar/lounge/dining areas.
